Veg Seattle will never use your information for any purpose other than that stated here -- namely, to send you information related to vegetarianism and veganism.

 

Communications you will receive from Veg Seattle will include the initial information pack, and a follow-up letter approximately six months later. You will receive no other communication unless otherwise requested.

 





"Vow to go Veg" is a Veg Seattle campaign to encourage and support the transition to vegetarian and vegan diets. With your commitment to reduce or eliminate meat and/or dairy products from your diet, we will in turn provide you with tailored information to help you meet your personal dietary goals, including literature, meal plans, shopping lists, restaurants guides, and much more.

 
 

How to Vow?

It's simple! Fill out the quick form below and watch for your package in the mail. The information is provided free of charge as a public service of Veg Seattle. Please be sure to include your contact information so we can get you the information you request.

Option A

I will abstain from all animal products, including all forms of meat, as well as dairy products (milk, cheese, butter), and eggs.

Option B

I will abstain from all meat products, including beef, chicken, turkey, pork, fish, and other seafood.

Option C

I am not ready to abstain from all animal products or all meat, but I would like to make a commitment to reduce the amount of these products that I consume.


To that end, I will vow to reduce the amount of meat I consume on a weekly basis by eliminating meat from about the following number of meals each week:

4 days or 12 meals
3 days or 9 meals
2 days or 6 meals
1 day or 3 meals

Details of Vow to Go Veg Options

Option A

Those who vow to abstain from all animal products (become vegan) will receive a wealth of customized information on why and how to reduce and eliminate all animal products from your diet. Included in your package will be a copy of Vegan Outreach's Why Vegan and COK's Vegetarian Starter Guide, as well as Seattle-specific resources including shopping guides, meal plans, a product guide, and a Seattle-area restaurant guide.

Option B

Those who vow to abstain from all meat products (become vegetarian) will receive information tailored to your needs. Included in your package will be a copy of Vegan Outreach's Vegetarian Living, COK's Eating Vegetarian, and API's Going Veggie: A Beginner's Guide, as well as Seattle-specific resources including shopping guides, meal plans, a product guide, and a Seattle-area restaurant guide.

 

Option C

For those who are not yet ready to abstain from all meat products, but would like to commit to reducing meat in your diet, we offer transitional resources to help you on your wayto a more healthful, more humane diet... one bite at a time. Included in your Vow to Go Veg intro package will be a copy of Vegan Outreach's Vegetarian Living, COK's Eating Vegetarian, API's Going Veggie: A Beginner's Guide, Seattle-specific resources including shopping guides, meal plans, a product guide, and a Seattle-area restaurant guide, as well as information specifically designed to ease your transition.
